About Us

Stan Jones Cycles was established in 1951, trading from premises at Coleham, Shrewsbury.  Stan spent his early days renovating and repairing old bikes, working hard through the evenings.  He quickly gained a good reputation and the Business flourished.

The Business was successfully passed on to son Tom and moved premises to Hills Lane, Shrewsbury; Tom ran the business until he retired in 2007.  The business is still in the Jones Family and is run by Mike grandson of Stan and son of Tom.  Mike is a very well respected and highly regarded cyclist in the Midlands area, having raced at a very high level for over 27 years.

This family shop has a wealth of experience to offer its customers.  With expert advise on Road Cycling from Mike himself.  Our hugely experienced and qualified mechanics Lee and Simon have well over 40 years of knowledge between them.  All our Sales staff have extensive knowledge of off road, Touring, Commuting and Road Cycling.  Every aspect of cycling is covered from Children’s cycles to Specialist Mountain and Racing Cycles.

The main aim of our shop is to give good service and knowledgeable advice.  We are a local bike shop but offer our services to all our customers anywhere in the Country.
